Flower Bouquets
Flower bouquets are different from floral arrangements because arrangements are meant to be used as centerpieces or display pieces while bouquets are meant to be carried. Most people mainly think of wedding or bridal bouquets when they hear that word. It is impossible to define just what one should look like, who should use it, or what flowers should be used, because it is an intensely personal thing. A collection of roses is often the most stereotypical type of bouquet, but of course, roses do not need to be involved at all—lilies, daffodils, carnations, tulips, baby’s breath, and countless other types of flowers might be used by themselves or in combination with other flowers and items.
Making your own flower bouquets is actually pretty easy. You need to be aware of some simple, basic steps. Once you are, you should begin practicing until you can create lovely bouquets that accentuate an outfit or a dress without overwhelming it. First, soak your flowers in some sort of preservation liquid. You need to do this for several hours, because once you begin the process, you won’t be sticking the flowers back in water.
After that, you need to gather your flowers up in an arrangement that you like. If it’s all one type of flower, like a dozen roses, you don’t need to spend too much time on arrangement. If it’s a collection of wildflowers, then you should take the time to make sure it looks like you want it to. Once you do that, wrap wire around the stems in a spiral. Cut the tips of the steps, and wrap that in floral tape. After that, hot glue two pieces of ribbon to the bottom of the stems and wrap them up the stems.
